2. Data processed through the website
The website does not use profiling or analytics tools. When you contact FIA, the information entered is transferred through the email application configured on your device and used exclusively to answer your request.
3. Data processed by Fleet Inventory Assistant
The app processes information required by the operational functions used by the user.
Information entered or acquired during operations
- Vehicle registration plate and notes associated with the scan or inventory.
- Operational selections relating to scanning and vehicle transporter loading or unloading.
- Photographs acquired by the user for OCR recognition or documentation.
- GPS position associated with the scan, when authorised.
- Date and time of the operation.
The app does not save or send photographs without a user action. Refusing location permission may limit features that require a position.
4. Purposes
- Manage vehicle inventory, scans, loading and unloading.
- Send information to the company database or management system.
- Ensure service operation, security and technical support.
- Reply to user enquiries.
Data is not used for marketing or profiling.
5. Legal basis
Processing is based on performance of the service or contract, legitimate interests concerning security and correct operation and, where required, user consent for camera and location access.
6. Retention
Vehicle scans are stored in the company database for operational purposes. Technical logs may be retained for up to 90 days. The app does not permanently store local data beyond what is needed for its operation.
7. Disclosure and transfers
Data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by technical providers and authorised personnel as part of the services supplied. Transfers outside the European Union are not planned; any providers are selected in compliance with applicable law.
8. Security
Declared measures include HTTPS connections, authenticated access, restricted access for authorised personnel, backups and system monitoring.
9. Your rights
Where provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection. Visit Data management and erasure or email info@fiatech.it.
